Why You Need Kombucha

There's a lot of buzz about Kombucha in the recent years. Chances are that you may have heard of some good report of kombucha and its benefits.

So what is Kombucha?

Kombucha is a fizzy sweet-and-sour tea fermented with bacteria and yeast. It has been consumed for thousands of years.

It is rich in probiotics and antioxidants. It is widely believe that it relieves or prevents a variety of health problems and help fight several diseases.

What is Kombucha made of?

The basic ingredients in kombucha are yeast, sugar, and black tea.

It takes a tedious process before it is ready for consumption.

This is how we make our Kombucha.

First Fermentation:

The basic ingredients in kombucha are yeast (SCOBY), sugar, and black tea.

This boiled mix is poured into jars and stored in dark, quiet room with a temperature 21-24 Celsius for 7 days.

Second Fermentation:

The second fermentation is where the real magic happens.

The fermented tea from the first fermentation will then be poured into airtight bottles that contain different fruits and spices.

This is where different flavours are derived.

We use high-quality and fresh fruits like apples, pineapples, mangos, passion fruits, strawberries and even coffee and ginger.

This process will take another 7-10 days depending on the weather.

Final Stage - Bottling:

After the 2nd fermentation, our Kombucha will be bottled and refrigerated for 24 hr before they're ready for sales.
